Camping

The weekend after 4th of July, it's becoming a tradition now (meaning it has happened for more than 3 years in a row) to go camping in Delaware. I love sleeping in a tent, Catalina (and I) love marshmallows, and Amelia loves adventure. What a wonderful combination!!

The camping site is decent, and so far we never went alone. We went this year again with Amelia's god parents and their daughters.
Did I say I love sleeping in a tent??

What can be more fun than sand, and water, and getting completely exhausted, knowing you'll go back and sleep in a tent? No much, except having the best 2 girls to watch play and laugh and be free and happy

Waiting for the next year's adventure!

July 4th

Same old, same old. Tradition I mean :)
The parade in our neighborhood, followed by grill done perfectly by Marius. Can't celebrate America better!

Happy 2nd birthday, much loved Amelia!

It was a fairy party, it was princess party, it was a jungle party...It was everything, just like the sweetest girl on Earth!

Amelia's 2nd birthday came faster than anyone expected. How can my sweet, wrinkly baby can be 2 already? isn't she still breastfeeding? Isn't she still a soft pillow of yellow curls on an extremely white fluffy skin?

Amelia is 2, and she is a fire ball. She captures all the sun, and then comes to share it with everyone around, demanding to be loved and praised. And how can one not to, when she's so full of energy, so full of love and beauty? She more than we imagined can be given to us. She soft and strong, she's sweet and independent, she's a fighter and a winner. And she is so much adored!

June 1st, 2018, the day she turned 2, Amelia had with her both sets of grandparents, her parents of course, and Petronela and her family. She was loved and admired and we had cake and we sang and we had fun.

Her birthday party was in a park. It was chilly, but my heart was on fire. Catalina's birthdays bring me  butterflies to my stomach, Amelia's bring me uncontrolled laughter. Such different personalities, such different ways to love these girls.

Amelia had lots of guests, and she did not seem either impressed or intimidated. She just wanted to have fun. We had cake, and crafts, and mini golf. But we had Amelia on our brain, so we couldn't see much beyond that.

Happy birthday, wonderful soul! You are more loved and adored than you know!
