Little outings to Natural Preserves, running in front of the house, biking.
It was Easter, and Mother’s Day, and work from home, and helping Cati with homework, and caring for Ami. Sometimes it feels it happened all in one day. Sometimes it seems there were years. We canceled a Disney vacation, we canceled the Alaska vacation.
And with all these, it’s hard to regret it. I had so much time with my girls. Catalina is a lady, she’s growing up so fast! She cooks a lot and very yummy food. As with everything she does, she is careful and detail oriented. She talks a lot about the dog she wants when we have a house. She’s patient with Amelia, and that’s not easy. Amelia is a firecracker. She sets up contests for her and Cati and screams at the top of her lungs “I need to win!!” She is loving and curious, adventurous and shy. She wants mommy and just mommy these days. She loves to be cuddled when she wakes up. She learnt to ride a 2 wheeler.
In few days Amelia turns 4. We’ll have a celebration spread throughout the weekend. What a privilege for me to be mom for these amazing girls 😍. I am winning every day!
