Petro and Silvia in Philly!

Chronologically, it has not been THAT long. We’ve seen the whole Foss family right before Covid ruined our lives. They came to philadelphia for Cati’s  birthday. And then nobody traveled anywhere, nobody knew how long we’ll be separated. Vaccines came, cases decreased and our first visitors arrived! On their way to Romania, Petronela and Silvia stopped in Philadelphia. What a hug for sore souls!

For the first time since the girls were born we visited the Philadelphia museum of art. It was a wonderful afternoon in the city, just us the girls.

Camping trip 2021

Every summer a staple in our outings is our trip to Delaware shores. Tent, inflatable beds, and pretty much half of our house gets loaded in the car and away we go! This is the one trip Covid did not cancel, not even in the terrible 2020. With cases as low as we’ve seen since March 2020, we were excited.

The weather was great. The camping site was great as well. We had an electric stove for fast cooking and even faster coffee. The girls were not unhappy. The beach was awesome as usually. The only great downside is that for the first time in years we were not able to book a site for

What’s not to love? Lazy summer days, beautiful family. And most importantly, we’re still healthy.

Artist in the house

The flower show did happen and Catalina’s blue bird was displayed. What a great pride! This girl does it all: school, art, music. So very proud of my lovely delicate star!

It was a beautiful day. There were other events around, Amelia painted and skipped and enjoyed the sun. Catalina was quiet and maybe a bit proud of her accomplishment as well. Such a rich, amazing universe in her beautiful mind!
