It's funny how all anniversaries have some metal or stone associated with them...So, for the 10 years I lived with my husband, Hallmark (or whoever is the metal/stone boss of everything, like Catalina would say) decided tin is a perfect fit.
So, for my tin husband...It's been 10 years since I wore a big white dress, a tiara that dug deep into my skull, so deep that I had skin wounds for a whole month after the wedding. At that time I felt it was a magical night. As I grew, reality crept in and I can now see that night for what it was: a long party in a crowded place, two estranged youngsters who wore fancy clothes, danced a lot and ate too much cake. What happened in the last 10 years since then? We learnt everything, as now we know it all :)
We laugh, and we yell, we sleep too much and then we stay up all night. We eat too much and then decide that tomorrow (it's always tomorrow) we'll diet. We say I love you and then fight. And then we plan a vacation and we say I love you again. So...
I love you, my tin family :)
