Easter, birthday and end of spring

2021 came with more hope, mostly because of COVID vaccines. First opportunity, we got them. It’s funny how for the longest time, I was still so worried. Or not that funny, as cases were still quite high. Even vaccinated I didn’t go to church for Easter. It is really losing all the magic and peacefulness. Maybe someday I’ll get it back, till then, colored eggs, traditional food, and remembering those that watch over

My birthday follows Easter and once again I celebrated with the 4 of us, plus the zoom crew. Presents were plentiful and nice. Food was good. I am blessed to grow old near my family 

But the best surprise of all came from Cati. She was selected to create an art work for Philadelphia Flower show. Her art will be displayed and we’ll get free tickets as a reward. Can I be more proud??? I don’t think so 🥰😍🤩. Here is the bird she created, to draw attention to birds that die hitting skyscrapers. 

 

Spring is ending, waiting for summer. And to celebrate the beginning of summer, a celebration for the greatest and purest ball of energy and glitter, my most beloved Amelia turns 5!!!
